Installing Walraven BIS Ultraprotect® products correctly

Many of our products are available with our special coating which gives the products a longer life when used outdoors. Walraven BIS Ultraprotect® 1000 offers corrosion resistance of up to 1000hrs, which far exceeds Hot Dip Galvanised (up to 600hrs) and Zinc plated (up to 80hrs) products.

Additional benefits of the coating include:

• suitable for corrosive environments C1 – C4
• threaded products are also well protected
• products feel smooth and are visually appealing
• can be combined with hot dip galv or zinc plated products

It is important for our Walraven Ultraprotect® 1000 products to be installed correctly to guarantee the integrity and performance of the special coating. Incorrect installation carries a high risk of damaging the coating which can affect its performance.
