Multi-service bracketry for a hospital M&E renovation

Published on: 4 July 2024

case study walraven MaxxThe client was installing M&E services in a hospital in the north of England and required a solution to install a significant number of M&E services through some long corridors.

The Problem

The nature of the installation required extensive electrical containment and pipework to deliver the substantial amount of power and services through the hospital. A solution that could span the width of the corridors and safely support the volume of services and their loads while operating in a tight space was required.

The Solution

The Walraven Maxx system was selected as a heavy-duty frame system that would be able to support the high loads, safely span the width of the corridor and allow flexibility on site. To make the most of the limited space available, the Maxx system offered a solution for multiple services to be suspended from one bracket.

The contractor was, therefore, able to make the most of the limited space available to run all the services along the corridor. In addition, the modular nature of the Maxx system allowed for simple on-site design changes to be incorporated.
