The products falling under the Walraven BIS UltraProtect® 1000 system have a high corrosion resistance. Effortlessly they withstand a salt spray test of at least 1000 hours (according to ISO 9227), where hot dip galvanized products withstand up to 300-600 hours).
Despite a relatively thin protective layer, the corrosion resistance is high. The products from the Walraven BIS UltraProtect® 1000 system not only feel smooth and have a beautiful finish, they also look optically attractive. An additional advantage of the relatively thin protective layer is that products with threaded holes or rod are also well protected against corrosion.
